1971/1972 orange or clear markers light lenses? My '72 C10 has clear and look old but I see some old with orange. What's the deal on the lenses?

Someone could have replaced them with modern clear style where guys use amber bulbs behind the clear lenses. If they are old, they're probably just faded.

Original was amber fronts and red rears..

what color are the bulbs? the stock lenses were amber but they also make clear lenses now

My lenses are old but maybe they replaced them back in the late 80's. Amber bulbs are what were in it when I got it. I know on a '70 Chevelle SS vs Malibu the lenses are different color, just didn't know if there is something like that on the trucks.

Mine has one of each...dunno if that was PO choice or wear and tear. This pic was taken the day I bought her, about a year ago.

I've only seen orange ones in stock trucks.
