Caliper upgrade question
I have a 71 350 5.7L c10 truck and would like to put some nicer front calipers on it. My question is, who makes an aftermarket caliper that is a direct bolt on replacement for my factory calipers? I don't want to change anything but the calipers. Any suggestions?

Do you have the actual D52 part number.

Re: Caliper upgrade question
i got my D52s from scotts hotrod. they are board sponsors.
http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...5&postcount=55 they look good. I got the drilled/slotted rotors from CPP. Its all OE replacement, nothing had to be modified. But honestly Im not convinced they stop any better than stock. I think I should have looked at McGaughtys big brake systems but at the time they wouldnt fit my rims. |

Re: Caliper upgrade question
if they use the same pads and same diameter pistons there would be no difference in stopping power...the're just lighter and look good through your rims...

Re: Caliper upgrade question
For looks alone they are not worth the price, so you might as well get the ones with bigger pistons.
