Re: 4X4 rear air ride suspension
If your asking about your 71 no one makes a kit it would be custom made.

Re: 4X4 rear air ride suspension
are you looking for an airbag assist or a full-on air susp?
firestone ride-rite makes a set of 5000lb airbags, that you can get on board air for (cheap & simple, on my K30. for a full air susp., maybe check out Kelderman air control systems http://kelderman.com/ |

Re: 4X4 rear air ride suspension
yeah, they dont have kits for older rigs, but they do have builders hardware, you would still be fabbing pieces.
i seen them on a hot rod interview couple years ago describing there kits, he also mentioned they do custom work (ie; buckets of money, deep pockets, etc). i'm not 100% sure, but i think it was kelderman who put an air susp. on Stacey David's project heavy metal, 5 ton international |

Yeah it was Kelderman who put the air ride on that truck on gearz.Rick are you trying to make the truck ride better or just want the adjustable of air bags?

Re: 4X4 rear air ride suspension
you can actually tune your susp. a bit with just airbags. when i'm empty i take most of the weight off the springs & it rides pretty decent for a 1 ton, as well as an extra 5000 lb cap. when i need it.
you can get airbags for the front of your 75 to,with onboard air, you can have some fun, & a much smoother ride price is way more realistic too |
