Does any one know if the 67 C/10 came with in dash tachs or are they all after markets???
If the 67 came with a factory instrument panel with Tach, does any one have one or a picture of one?? Cheers

Yes, the OE tach was optional 67-72. The same tach was used all years, so any picture should suffice.

My 67 suburban has one, I've been told they are rare but haven't tried to prove it.

Can you "pin" one of these tachs, or will the sucker just start spinning back around on itself once it passes 5k?
Apparently they didn't like you spinning big revs back in the day. |

In a article I read it was stated that 2% on any 67-72 model year had factory tachs.

I just modified my stock cluster for an aftermarket cheap tach....$40, and it goes to 8 grand too (not that my motor would spin that fast, but i do take it abouve 5 grand pretty often)

Why not just buy a new one from Classic Industries? Fits right in the spot for the old one, and it's only $99.95. Part number, btw is CS1138 for 67-72.
