Fuel line routing?
Would like to see how you guys routed fuel lines from the motor down to the frame. I want to keep everything tied to the frame and not the body if possible. But any and all photos would help, Thanks Daniel

Re: Fuel line routing?
pretty much how mines run...I used all s.s. flex hose tho. Runs down the back of the motor and across the trans to the frame rail, and hugs the frame rail all the way back to Vette reg/filter, pump, prefilter and tank.

Re: Fuel line routing?
I brought mine up and over, and met it with hard line run up from the frame. It doesn't anchor to the body.

Re: Fuel line routing?
My truck is equipped with a Porterbuilt Dropmember. The motor is raised up a bit and my manifolds are angled high and sit pretty high on the frame rail. Wonder if anyone with a dropmember has picks. Gonna set the cab back on this week, will see what kinda room I got.

Re: Fuel line routing?
Not trying to hijack the thread, but does anyone have the part numbers for the fittings used to make the lines you guys used off of the fuel rails?

Re: Fuel line routing?
I have an extra set of the Russel EFI push connect fittings; but keep in mind that many have the OLD design, which uses a regular plastic center clip. These CAN and HAVE come off before under rail pressure. I had a return line fitting come off and pump fuel onto hot headers.
YOU NEED TO USE 644110 or 644120, these are the NEW design parts for 3/8 and 5/16 push on fuel fitting to -6 AN. Some have used the old style for a long time, but there has been more than 1 car lost to a fire caused by the fittings. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/rus-644120/overview/ http://www.summitracing.com/parts/rus-644110/overview/ If you want the old style, you can have my set for the cost of shipping....but frankly thats at your own risk.

Re: Fuel line routing?
I need to update to those....tho I do have the fittings tension relieved/tie wrapped down in the hopes that it won't move until I do change it.
