Re: 67 drum to 72 disc brakes?

The 72 master is needed to run the front disc setup, as well as the proportioning valve. Swap the boosters too, the adjusting rods are different for the different cylinders, if I recall. You will need to change the front brake line from the master to the tee block for the front brakes, and change the rear line fitting using a new brake line nut that is the correct size. (You should be able to attain the line and the different size brake nuts you need from your local parts house, or just use your lines off the 72, if they're any good.) You will also need to use the Tie rods, adjusting sleeves, and centerlink from the 72 as well. You also need to swap controls arms too since the balljoints and steering stops are different. If you have a complete donor truck, just use all the 72 stuff and you should be good.
