what size bolt???
This is my first post kinda new at this, i was needing some help on what size bolt for mounting the motor to the motor brackets on frame.

I think they are 7/16.

I recently helped a friend install an engine in his 68. He had pulled the old engine and was using the same bolts to install the new one. It had been "reatores some time before and he couldnt get the engine mounts in engine or the frame to stand bolts. Turns out they were using 7/16" bolts in 7/16" holes. I sent him to Tractor Supply for grade 8 3/8" bolts and we had it in in 30 minutes.

Yes, they are 7/16-NC bolts with lock washers and large flat washers.
Can't remember exactly how long they are but it is at least 1" long but not longer than 1-1/2".

appreciate the help i just dropped transmission off to get new seals so we are going to try to put in this weekend, lets see how it goes
