if you are going to a tech school, purchase the best tools you can. dont waste money buying low grade tools and repurchasing again...
the local tool guy Mac, Snap-on, SK, Matco etc... will give a steep discount probabaly more than 50% off of tools, boxes etc. i put myself thru engineering school turning wrenches... the mac and snap on guy gave me the trade school pricing as well... i still use those tools and box at least once a week.
