Not much better than the bias plys as far as wear just as noisy but ride a bit better IMO, they also run small as far as sizing goes and the balancing was not any better than the bias plys but you cant beat Hawgs for the mud. The swamper SSR radials are nice and pretty quiet but not real good in the ice and snow I am told. The recent tire of choice by my brother, who goes through more tires than anybody I know is the Wrangler MTR. Claims it is the best all around tire he as ever had on a 4wd. I was impressed on our last outing, will definitly seriously conside the MTR's myself. Good luck tire shopping.
