60-63 cab sails
I was wondering if anyone has bought the repop cab sails like
http://www.gmcpauls.com/pictures/60-...customtrim.jpg Was wondering how the quality of them are. I haven't been impressed with a lot of the stuff from LMC and some of the other places. I have my original sails but they are aluminum and pretty beat and the chrome shop wants about 400 bucks a piece to chrome them.... Screw that! I'd rather not put them back on my truck for that much cheese... Or if anyone has a lead on some nice stainless let me know! |

Re: 60-63 cab sails
I was looking at those repo sails to, then I posted here and was talked into using oem sails and I am glad I did. Instead of spending over 200$ I spent 90$ and still have my old sails. The sails are stainless so a little buffing will shine them up and they look good. I bought my sails in the parts forum on this site. You can also try 4-5-6 Chevy Trucks On the web and they have good sails there for a decent price. Ebay has them once in awhile. good luck

Re: 60-63 cab sails
There is a set on eBay but the guys starting bid is 225 I think and they have some dings and dents. If they were in Bette shape I'd consider it but that's a little crazy for some trim that isn't in the best of shape IMO.
Thanks for reply, I sent 4-5-6 an email to see if they have anything. Posted via Mobile Device |
