Did this use quirk compressor? These were great serums and did make nice cold air! Those compressors were heavy but bullet proof!

Re: 67-72- dealer install a/c units
I don't need the mounting stuff...are you willing to sell just the underdash unit? If so, please let me know your price...Thanks!

Re: 67-72- dealer install a/c units
Is there any way to get some installation info/pics? Obviously these were designed for R12...how does one convert one of these to 134? Do you by chance know of an install thread on one of these systems? Thanks!

Re: 67-72- dealer install a/c units
no install instructions is is a easy install also all you need to convert to 134 is a retro kit about $20.00 to change it over

Re: 67-72- dealer install a/c units
Yes you will have to drill 2 holes in the fire wall 1 1/4 inch for the 2 a/c hoses and 1 small hole for the drain tube thats it also all the brackets are there to mount a compressor

Re: 67-72- dealer install a/c units
I'm very interested in the other one, but I would like to see some close-up pics. Also, can you tell me if the kick panel vent still opens with this unit installed? Thanks!

Re: 67-72- dealer install a/c units
The kick panel vent is tight , as far as what other parts you will need is a/c compressor - drier - condensor - and hoses the hoses can be made up at any good radiator / a/c shop the condensor you can use a after market style or the factory type that is the kind i used as far as the inside unit just mount it and hook a power and groung wire

Re: 67-72- dealer install a/c units
By saying the vent is tight, does that mean it doesn't open?
