Widest tire that you can fit on a 1985 stepside
so I am new on here and I did a google search a while back and found a picture of a blue stepside c10 with what looks like drag slicks on the back I was wondering what tire size he was running. I have a 1985 stepside with a 4/6 drop and I want to make more of a pro street look if anyone can help me out with tire dimensions and rim size it would be a huge help thanks.

Re: Widest tire that you can fit on a 1985 stepside
I have a 295 on the rear of mine with a bunch of room to spare on the inside. I swear I can at least get a 325 in there maybe even more. I did roll my fenders and run a 1" spacer on 10" wide wheels. I will change my setup in the near future for some bigger meats. I have some Hoosier Pro Streets and the 31x16.50R-16LT do NOT fit.

I ran an N-50 on a stock 8" rally wheel on my stepside. Its roughly a 325/50. It grazed
the bedside going into driveways and inclines but cleared pretty well otherwise. |
