AD windshield glass
Getting ready to order new windshield glass for my 50. Tinted green or clear? Opinions? The glass will be from Classic Parts of America. My truck is basically black with some red and tan, not sure how "green" the tinted green glass is.
Thanks!

Re: AD windshield glass
I wondered the same thing when I was ordering. I went with green tint from classic parts and like it. It's a light green and I think the clear would be more for originality if thats what your after. Roger

Re: AD windshield glass
Went ahead and ordered the clear, not for originality, just afraid the green would clash with my other colors.

Re: AD windshield glass
The green doesn't really show up against the colors enough to write home about. Almost every new car that had tinted windows for the past 60 years had/has a green tint to the windows. A lot of AD GMC trucks came from the factory with the green tint on the windows.
On the behest of one of my buddies I had a bronze tinted rear window cut for my 48 and hated it. It looked ok but I didn't like looking through it.
