New guy from Yorktown, VA

What to say... I'm a new guy from Virginia. I've always enjoyed old Camaros and have had my fair share. I had always wanted a C10 from the second generation and I finally did it. I found a 70 CST10 long bed, medium blue and white, 350/350TH, and an air cab. Rust is typical I suppose and not something that is pushing for repair at this time.

My immediate goal is to make it stop better than it is. At some point it was converted to disc brakes, but I think the fluid is old and holding water, so I will flush the system, install a new MC and hoses, and then see what I have at that point. The rotors/pads and the drums all look to be fairly new.

I also plan to disassemble the front end to clean things up and to look for any problems that are more than skin deep. I'm not into dropping my truck in the weeds. My feeling is that I want to use it as a truck (novel idea, huh?) and to make it handle a little better. We'll see if I can follow through on that, or if I fall victim to the modification bug...

....and the engine bay. Notice the previous owner removed the AC. I'd complain, but hey, I did that to a number of Camaros and I guess that makes this kharma...
