quick question for anybody with an auto TH350 trans
How does the gear selection order run? Like is it supposed to be P,R,N,D,1,2? Reason i ask is because I only have two selections for a forward gear, like P,R,N,2,1, or P,R,N,D,2, when i believe i should have three. And it feels like to me that the truck isn't shifting into 3rd, even around 50 or 60 mph. I don't have a selector indicator on my dash so I go by feel. The truck didn't have the shift linkage hooked up, had a mechanic do it with parts he had laying around. And it works well for the most part, but i feel i'm supposed to have another gear selection on the column.

Easy to check.
Put it in reverse, then into nuetral and then next notch is drive. See where that spot is on your column indicator. Adjust if you can. |
