trans stuck to engine?

Hello

Trying to pull my th400 from my 350. Everything is removed. I double, triple, and quadruple checked! Tried wiggling it left and right, up and down. It doesn't even move a mm to get a pry bar in between. Any tips or tricks??

crossmember is removed, and tried wiggling in all directions. Still hasn't moved at all.

Re: trans stuck to engine?

What about carefully jacking up on the back of the tranny to help break it loose?

Re: trans stuck to engine?

Tried that also. I've removed many transmission over the years and never had one that wouldn't come out. Been trying for 7 hours now.

Re: trans stuck to engine?

Try taking the Torque converter bolts off. My old tranny jammed itself into the torque converter and I had to do this. Is your starter off, I know dum question but that might be gumming things up too.

No not trying to reuse it, but would like to sell it after wards. And haven't tried that one yet. I'll go give it a shot.
