66 3/4 ton long box info

Restoring one for a customer. Anyone got any good engine pictures? He's also trying to locate the correct tires for it. I believe he said they are 17" wheels. I think he also is trying to find the correct fender emblems. I think they are suppose to be C/20's if I'm correct. If anyone has any overall pictures that would be great too!
Thanks

Heres a good pic of a 66 c/20 emblem. The c/10 emblem shows the paint scheme much better... If its a 3/4 ton custom camper you'll be looking for these, which are much harder to find.

Thanks. It's not a custom camper. Just I believe custom c/20. It has the trim on the back of the cab behind the doors. He says he's been able to find the c/10 but not the c/20. As far as I can see they aren't reproduced. If so anyone know where?

https://www.universaltire.com/750-17...transport.html Here's some 7.50-17's if that's what you're looking for. 17" wheels will be multi piece tube type btw.

Re: 66 3/4 ton long box info

My bad. It's the 19.5 wheels he is wanting to put on here. The only tires he's been able to find are metric size which he says are a little but shorter & he would prefer the correct size tires.

I also asked him if he's found the c/20 emblems and he said he bought NOS ones.

Thanks guys

8R19.5 would be correct then. You should be able to find some fairly easy via the interwebs. Here's one for an example: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Samson-8r19-...p2054897.l4275

The c20 emblems are not reproduced. Id check the classifieds here under the 60-66 parts section. Be your best bet or watch the ebay auctions. The sail panels (cab trim behind the windows) is the same from 64-66. 60-63 used a different version.

Correct period size were 8-19.5 bias or 8R-19.5 radial. What engine do you have? Don't paint it Chevy orange if your doing a correct type restohttp://www.zieglertire.com/Delta-Aku...=10947307&ez=8 19 5 Delta&attr=3-1-7643&pos=1#/0

It's the high torq 283. He painted it gray. From what we could find off of original engine and a few pics we both had seen they were gray.

Re: 66 3/4 ton long box info

Thanks guys for the info. I know that the search is there to search but use to another site that it's hard to search without getting a lot of posts related to the same search word. Example search 66 3/4 ton and you would get posts both on 3/4 tons plus anything and all on any mention of 66 so I thought it was same. I'll learn the ways of this message board too. Thanks again!
