LS and Turbo?
Seen some pretty mild LS engines making good HP with gm heads and some running turbos that made insane power. Friend of mine does a lot with the LS and I got to talking to him and couldn't really believe the power you can get without breaking the bank. I know what I got in my 434 and I guess I'm old school, but I got to thinking about a 6.0, maybe with a blow through carb and a turbo in my 51 chev trk. It'd be pretty impressive, I could run a 3.42 or so gear, and it'd fly but still be real streetable. I'm just thinking out loud here, but I might have to do a little research. It would look neat though when you raised the hood!

Re: LS and Turbo?
Thought about that too, was going to price bigger injectors, and whatever else I'm going to need.

Re: LS and Turbo?
I found out that what number you have in your head cost wise, you will need to double it...lol

Re: LS and Turbo?
I usually figure extra on anything, the chevelle took the extra and then some. I do everything myself so that helps. If you could just prevent that "while I'm at it I might as well change this" I'd be in better shape moneywise.
