Question Why don't they make these?

Why doesn't anybody seem to make custom grilles for 67-70 chevy pickups? You can find 'em all day long for 71 and 72, but never for any years prior to that.

For 69-70 you just use a 71-72 outer with the billet insert.

Careful now Chris. You need to step outside your "box" and come over here with me. We can have a few beers and come up with our own "ideas". I'm sure by closing time we'll have come up with some winner.

They both make them. I feel the TRENZ is a little better quality but you will pay for it. Stull makes a good one though, pick to fit your budget

What I realy want to know is why NOBODY makes a stock steel grill for a '67! I actually saw an ad for a chrome one but at $500 it was a little spendy to scuff up and paint. I don't think the chrone one would look very good on the '67.

Check with Ed Cooper (AKA Mothertrucker on the board). He was trying to get them reproduced at one point. I'd bet Wes at Classic Heartbeat may be working on this as well.

www.grillecraft.com

I sent an email to grillecraft, inquiring about a billet grille to fit the 69-70 shell. I believe the quote I got was somewhere in the $350 range. What I'm talking about would replace the plastic inner grille.

350 is like outrageous. id just buy a 71-72 billet and take out the middle part of the billet part so it would fit in there.
andy---- there is only one.... i havent seen another gmc with billet grille i dont think
