91 Burb B/S Molding chrome
Is this chrome strip on the top of the body/side molding still available somewhere? If so, how would I refer to it at the dealer? The molding itself is fairly nice and I can restore it when I paint, but the chrome is peeling.

I don't think you can get just the chrome by itself but you can get the entire lower molding new. Makes for a better paint job to remove it then anyway.

Thanks John. I need to swing by the dealer about my GMC today anyways, I might ask to see what they can come up with on the molding and how much it would run to do the whole truck. The other option MAYBE is actual SS half-round in whatever size that is. Then it'll never peel again.

There is also at least one fella on ebay selling it by the foot. I just got a 14 foot roll of it for my suburban. Its very nice but not an exact match for the original.
