swb specifications question
I still have been unable to locate a bed mat for my 71 swb so I'm gonna try and order a piece of heavy rubber and cut it to fit. My truck is currently not here so I'm needing some information. Can anyone tell me what the size of the swb bed is inside? Trying to figure out what size to order. Also, if you have any idea where to order the section of heavy rubber that would be great. Thanks for the help.

Re: swb specifications question
If you want a cheap option, just go to Home Depot and buy a couple 4'x8' commercial door mats. $40 and done.

Re: swb specifications question
A lot of guys use a 73-up mat and trim it to fit and are very happy with them. I used a "generic" mat for a SWB truck from a camper dealership and only had to trim a couple inches off the back and the spaces around the stake pockets. It looked "factory" and was $85.

Re: swb specifications question
Length of the bed floor is 6' 6", and it is a little more than 48" between the wheelhouses.

Re: swb specifications question
Another idea is to use horse stall mats from Tractor Supply. I use them for flooring in my gym and they are very heavy duty.
