Mustang ll Suspension Height/Stance

First post here…

I have a 3600 5 window. I'm converting to 1/2 ton 5 lug. I have ready a 74 Nova 3.73 posi and a donor 1/2 ton axle.

The guy doing this for me (decades of hot rodding/racing exp.) has me also looking at the Mustang ll FEs. Looked at Heidts, Fatman, Speedway,Jim Weimer, Paul Horton, Jim Meyer Racing etc. Lots of web crawling…

Don't' want a clip, I really like the stock height, but maybe can get my head around a slight drop. Initial observations on Must ll ….

- It looks like most kits with stock spindles are a 4" drop?

- Looking at the systems, it would appear that you could modify some of these so there is only a 2" drop? (Manufacturer freaks out on hearing this…)

- Jim Meyer Racing is "adjustable" ( have to find out what this means)

….I have some more thoughts but would like to throw this out there first.
