Re: leak
I would look real close at the drip rail (on the roof )for cracks that will let water in as it runs down the in side of the glass.
(from the been there done that)

Re: leak
Welcome to the forum. Have you located the exact entry point of the leak?

Re: leak
The windsheild was fy not a PPG? I assume you mean something like Tong Yang[Large importer company for those of you that are not up on parts slang]. I have used windsheilds from a local place in Little Rock AR called Discount auto glass and they sell imported glass[ I buy a windsheild for a 99-07 chevy truck for $65 bucks or $150 installed if I don't have time]and I have never had a fitment problem with the glass. Now I am surely not saying that you couldn't have an issue with a bad glass, I am saying out of the hundreds yes in the hundreds I have used I have not had an issue with that being a problem. Have you been able to pinpoint where the leak is coming from? Is it coming between the rubber and the glass or some where else? Jim

Re: leak
Easiest way is using water hose on a trickle with someone in the cab looking for the leak. May even require removing wipers n cowl using the same method.
Common spots to leak is in the two upper corners, and antenna wire feed into the cab. More serious areas are the in the upper drip rail or the area around the windshield lip. I like using a seal from the manufacture that made the glass and had the best luck that way.

Re: leak
,the leak appears to be between the channel and the gasket, not the glass and the gasket

Re: leak
The original assembly manual for these trucks recommends the use of a sealer between the rubber gasket and metal channel on both upper corners. If you don't do this, chances are good that it will leak.
