Re: Big window cab or small window cab?????
I'd rather sit in the shade. I think the SBW looks more vintage and suits the cab better. The BBW is like a big fishbowl.

Re: Big window cab or small window cab?????
In my opinion, the Big Back Glass is "Special" because they are Rare, but make mine a Small Back Glass. I only wish my '72 C-10 had a Small Glass, like you could have in '67, but as we all know, they only were offered one way from '68 up.

Re: Big window cab or small window cab?????
And I believe from 73 on, big windows became legally required.

I always thought it was a legal thing in '68, but you could be right.

Either, you're right. The big window was the rarity then.

Re: Big window cab or small window cab?????
I wish mine was a small window...small windows look cooler to me and I would feel safer when I have heavy things in the bed.

Re: Big window cab or small window cab?????
I prefer the look of the large window for the reason previously mentioned about being more of a modern look and for not having that huge blind spot. To me these are the trucks that brought a lot of the styling and mechanical features you've become accustomed to in trucks. They didn't exactly reinvent the wheel with this vintage but it seems like it all came together with this generation. Coil spring front end, rear sloping A pillar, power steering, factory ordered in dash A/C, vacuum power brakes, bucket seats amongst other things. I'm not saying these options weren't available before they just seemed to all become standard stuff after. Small window just seems too vintage for these, like wide whites and step sides. They had their run but seems forced when I see them on anything after 50 something.
