Ford gas tank
Who's using one of these tanks in their c10? I like the low profile and I think it would fit inside the frame rails with a little trimming.

Re: Ford gas tank
I don't think we use the "f" word here.
Seriously, it looks like it'd be a good fit.

Re: Ford gas tank
I just so happen to have one outside and out of the car (I'm working on a '66 mustang for a customer). I'll measure and let you know tomorrow. The fuel sending unit mounts on the bottom side, if that bothers you at all.

Re: Ford gas tank
That would be great. I like how flush it sits and doesn't hang down too low.

As requested I did a writeup on my mustang fuel tank/ sending unit solution. I posted it in the 47-59 section since that is my usual hang out and didn't want to double post in different sections, the link is here: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...=1#post6346101 Hope this helps and if you have any questions feel free to ask |

Re: Ford gas tank
I'm really sorry. I got very sick today and wasn't able to get that info for you. I will try and get the dimensions tomorrow for you.
