hauling
I'm not even sure if this is the place or even if it's legal, but they pissed me off enough, I'm going for it. I wouldn't use Aries Auto. I just had a truck hauled from Ca to Pa. It took them forever, the truck looked like it was drug through a swamp, and they were the most ignorant people. They wouldn't tell me where my truck was or when it was coming. The truck already left Ca. I dealt with it for a month until my state cop buddy called them and told them that technically if they didn't tell me where it was, it would be considered a stolen vehicle. It still took them a week and a half after that to get it home!

send an email to transportbuff@aol.com and talk to Ross. They are fast, reliable and good fair prices. Tell him the ELLIS Brothers referred you. Good Luck!

We can't make it in that time limit but State to state transport in Avon Park Fl at 1-800-940-4065 might be able to help you.

Aires... Fully insured and will cost you about $900.. Das is overpriced and you have to pick up at THEIR location and deliver to THEIR location.. Aires is Door to Door.. No brainer. Ive used them and they are great. Ive also used DAS and they can be a bit picky.
aires did a coast to coast in under 3 days and they were perfect. DAS took over 2 weeks. From an above post, looks like there was a mixup on someones delivery as everyone I know that has used Aries has been happy as heck and you cant beat the FULLY insured price.. Its your choice but if it was i, I would only go Aires. :p |

trucking
The problem with these big shipping companies is that they use smaller independent trucking companies. They are just a few people sitting in an office taking phone calls and subcontracting the work out to smaller trucking companies. My fee was $850. The trucking company (if you could call it that) was paid $700. Aries got $150 for their troubles. And it was FULLY insured, but I have yet to receive any payment for what was damaged while in transport. I just wasn't impressed with the whole operation. Not to mention, the people were rude. It could be a fluke, but I just wanted to share my opinion.

also you may want to try Reliable carriers. they cost more because most of the time they use inclosed trailers but are good at what they do and they don't sub out. My company uses them a lot for transporting our SEMA trucks.
reliable can't hurt to get a quote.

Used Aries myself. They called me three times a day to let me know where the truck was. Numerous emails and phone calls as well. Yes they contract to over 800 independant haulers. The haulers call in and look for loads in their area to cut costs. Good business. Some people stink no matter what job they do and some drive trucks. I got a good one.
I would use them again. The sad thing is that a member of this board was doing this for awhile and could not make a go of it. I wish Crews the best in whatever he is doing now.

I talked to several movivg companies. Some will haul vehicles behind their moving trucks.
