Original steering wheel and horn to a tilt assembly ?
Hi, I'd like to use the '51 wheel and horn set up on an aftermarket tilt column. Is there a way to do this myself?
I hope some of the great fabricators on the list can share some ideas - thanks, Don |

Re: Original steering wheel and horn to a tilt assembly ?
what I am trying to do is use an aftermarket 32" chrome tilt for GM unit, keyless with column shift - I can bolt on the 1951 wheel, but getting the horn contact parts to match is this problem, of many :)
I am hoping not to have to spend the $$ for an ididit or similar column. thanks, Don |

Re: Original steering wheel and horn to a tilt assembly ?
My problem is that the lower contact plate in the original column is also the upper shaft bearing, and that won't morph in what I am trying to do -
