You just don't see many around,so it's hard to find any comparison. They are desired more as a vintage accessory,although they do what they're made to do just fine. I'm just saying,you might find people will pay more who are looking for era accessories than someone looking for a winch for general purposes. For their money,they can find a newer winch of a more standard design with more readily available parts. Two members come to mind who I would put your question to...Dirty Larry (he has one on his '78 he uses) and Blazerman (he's into this stuff like I am). I'd love to have one,just to have one...just because I like this stuff. Maybe see what those guys say and maybe I'd take a stab at it. I could take a blind shot,but see what they say.
