Yes, OrrieG is right. It has helped me with info for my 58 fleetside, 55 suburban and my 39 2dr sedan. That link is a wealth of valuable knowledge.

double clicking on that photo should bring up the photobucket page with several scans of that diagram.

I couldn't find one that is clear enough to read and I am at work so I can't dig the book out. Maybe someone has it and can look.

173 inches end to end with no extension in place or 159 3/8 from front spring hanger eye to rear spring hanger eye
