check valve quesion

Hi , I have air bags on all 4 wheels of my truck, the air goes from the compressor to the tank, Then to another inline tank, then a line comes out for the front tires, and one for the rear tires, I have 2 dump switches in the dash for front and back,

Can someone tell me where I need to put the check valves in the system please.

Ive looked around and had no luck. Thanks in advance for your time.

you don't have solenoids on the lines to the bags?

Re: check valve quesion

if you have manual valves, you dont need check valves. check valves are for electric solenoids so that when you lose tank pressure that it keeps backpressure on the solenoid valves. without backpressure, they would equalize pressure between the bag and the tank, and if the tank has zero, so do your bags.

another use for check valves is in line with the compressor outlet where it enters the tank, so tank pressure doesnt load on the compressor piston. usually compressors have them built into the leader hoses, if you have a compressor with a stainless leader hose you probably already have a check valve.
