Might be selling the truck and getting a Suburban

So I found what looks like to be a decent Burb and put my truck up for sale. Just wondering what you all think about the burb. I need to go check it out of course but it looks decent. The price seems a little high but cash can in hand can fix that. heres the ad-

I'm hoping its not too rusted out. It's about a 2 1/2 hr drive and it's going to snow like crazy in a couple of days so I need to hurry. lol

I think you need both and for what he's asking, it better have a new crate motor and al new mechanicals. There's a bunch of bodywork, hopefully no rust. Check the rear gate/door area and all the forward common c10 areas for rust.

I saw that on the weekend and thought he was a 1000.00 high. That dent alone on the driver side will be a bear as it is double walled and you cant get behind it. Other than that it looks pretty clean.

That left rear body damage is going to be difficult to repair, but if the rest is decent, that's not too bad of a deal. You might see if $3k will get it.

Re: Might be selling the truck and getting a Suburban

Yeah the dent and possible rust coverup is kinda scary. The panels look pretty wavey and a 2 1/2 hour drive in the snow won't be fun. I did find a 66 4x4 in Spokane for $1500 that is pretty rusty but cheap and close. lol I have a guy coming to look at my truck tomorrow and if he buys it I'll have to call and ask about the rust situation. If the floors and rocker are ok I can deal with the rest.
