Re: Unique Factory Firewall Markings
Hi Jack, That's just something the painters at Freemont Assembly did. They signed their work. Two guys painted a cab in 2 minutes and for whatever reason the guys at Freemont put a initial in the paint. It wasn't directed in any way by GM, just something the painter did on his own. I have several examples of this type of graffiti. Here are five to show.

Re: Unique Factory Firewall Markings
That's is just amazing ! That is the most personalized thing I have ever seen a assembly line worker do ? The "R" seems to be a common theme ? Same guy I wonder? What's funny is the lack of other firewall markings, I see partial vin #s a lot.thanks for the photo ducumentation

Re: Unique Factory Firewall Markings
My Baltimore 4x4 truck's gas tank was signed by "john" seems like a lot of Baltimore trucks got a lot of markings compared to Atlanta trucks I have had. The 68 is written on all over the inside of fenders vent panels bed sides etc. it is Baltimore truck
