69 long bed wide wheel wells
I got a question here. I bought a 69 long bed a few weeks ago. And the rear wheel wells are 16.5 inches wide. Not 13 inches like all others I have seen. they look factory and the bed floor looks factory also. My friends truck is 50 inches wide between the fenders. Mine is only 39.5 inches wide. Does anyone know anything about this.

Re: 69 long bed wide wheel wells
I used 4 tubs to make 2 wide ones. I used the 2 tubs because I didn,t want to have two seams on each one when i was done. Tig welded everything. What size rear tires are you running. you have room to run some fatties..

Re: 69 long bed wide wheel wells
I did the same... added a piece to mine to make it wider. Made them just wide enough to be inside the frame rails.
