Re: Console guy

Possibly VA72C10. I'm not sure he's still doing them though.

PT'S 70 CST? Bulldog fan, Georgia helmet in his sig/avatar. I don't recall him doing consoles but, he was selling console bezels, ashtrays and emblems.

He's the one who gave Jonathan his pointers on consoles and dashes. Paul has done many fine jobs for board members all over going back many years.

Re: Console guy

All you need is lacquer thinner and paint, very easy to do.

If you search through my threads you'll find I posted the info on how I did mine. I used the proper plastic adhesive promoters, PPG products, spray gun, and so on. Turned out nice. I used a flat clear on it as well.

The reproductions of the metal plate where the ashtray goes are garbage. Save your old one if you can.

I have restored several of them as well and they turned out fantastic.

Re: Console guy

Killer yes it was me and here is a pic of the console that I did for you. Yours is the 510 med blue with the white emblem if I remember correctly. It is in the first link. I will pm you my #. I have one board members console that I have to finish first before I start on anyone else's. I do not do as many of them anymore due to my job and the kids taking up most of my spare time.
