when to c-notch

on a 67-72 at what lowering point would you want to notch.in other words if you droped the rear 4inches should you c notch or is there still plenty of room to still haul stuff?

You should still have plenty of room with a 4" drop. I wouldn't suggest a notch unless your frame bottoms out on the rear end or you plan to go lower.

from the frame to the top of the axle tube, plan on leaving at least 3" between the two. any less and you will bottom out.
