Clutch fork
I have a 66 c10 that I just picked up. And the clutch fork was not installed. It is an Muncie 4 speed. The motor and trans are installed. Was wondering if the clutch fork can be installed without pulling the trans out thanks clutch is installed

Re: Clutch fork
Clutch fork sits on the throw out bearing between the clutch and the transmission, so trans will have to come out.
Is it an older frame mounted bellhousing or a more modern style bellhousing that has the transmission w/the crossmember mount? The frame mounted bellhousing has an access plate underneath, but I don't think you'll have room to get the clutch fork on the pivot ball and still on the throw out bearing. I still think it'll have to come out.
