N-fab style step bars for 67-72?
Pretty much what the title says. Has anyone fabbed up there own step bars that are similar to the N-fabs? I think they would look pretty good on the 67-72

Re: N-fab style step bars for 67-72?
ive made several sets, none for this style truck. i have a set on my M715 but i made them to be more like rock sliders than step bars. the second tube goes up, not down.
i have considered building a set for my 72. im not sure if i will or not. i like them but i am not a fan of steps. so if i built them they would probably come out a lot like my jeep bars. it is handy to have the structure there for mounting stuff like air tanks and whatnot! here is a pic of the jeep since... just because. i tested them with a hi-lift before i welded the brace tube and spreader plate and i lifted both tires on that side off the ground, no contact with the body. |

There is a set of step bars that bolt to the cab mounts, The step bars are made by Aries - 204036-2 Aries. If you Google it you can find them for sale. Here's a truck with them mounted. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...&postcount=723

I've got mine, not bolt-on's, but welded to the frame. I also wanted to make sure that they ran to the rear tires since I usually reach into the front of the bed to get stuff out.
