Correct Steering Wheel for 1983 GMC Sierra Classic
What does the original steering wheel for a 1983 Sierra Classic look like? Pics please.
My newly purchased (still awaiting arrival) 83 Sierra Classic 2500 crew cab has an aftermarket steering wheel. I would like to replace it with an original, or a reproduction version of the original? What would that look like and where could I find one? Thanks for all replies! Oh yeah...

I think LMC sells one, I would check with our site vendors first though. Maybe a Nice used one from eBay? or NOS from the classifieds on this site.
Just a quick note to add, The Chevys used the same wheel as well from 78-88 but they used a different emblem in the horn button. (emblem or horn button is a simple swap) -Sam

Yep, the one Randy posted. Sierra Classic was highest trim so it received the narrow steering wheel center with brushed aluminum accents.

Re: Correct Steering Wheel for 1983 GMC Sierra Classic
For the 81-87 years it went from Sierra to High Sierra to Sierra Classic. 73-80 also had a Sierra Grande and a Royal Sierra. I can't elaborate on those. Compare a Sierra to a Custom Deluxe, a High Sierra to a Scottsdale, and a Sierra Classic to a Silverado.
