Re: Cracked head

Lots of places. A cracked inline head is very common but it is possible to be pinned and fixed. JET might be able to. Found out not long ago parts stores have motors available. Call around to machine shops maybe they can fix it?

Re: Cracked head

Does Jasper sell heads?

My first call would be to junkyards in the area, but I would try my machine shop as well.

Re: Cracked head

Is you cylinder head the integrated intake manifold one?

Like this?

if so, you may want to switch to the non-integrated head.

Re: Cracked head

Well we'll repair machine And build it. It can be pricey though. I'd clean it real real good and magnaflux it. That will show how bad the crack is and if it is fixable.

I'm not too familiar with the conversion. What would I need to do differently?
