control arms
Are the control arms the same on dics brakes or drum brakes? if not what difference is there?

Yes, the control arms (bars that connect rear axle to the frame) are the same.....my LMC catalog has the same PN for the arms from 67-72, and C10 and C20 truicks

I think he is talking about the A-arms on the front. Yes, and no. The uppers are the same. The lowers on a drum truck will work if you replace the drum ball joints with disc ones. The difference in the lowers is in the steering stop. The drum lowers have a different steering stop than the disc ones. If you use drum lower arms on a disc conversion, you will have a slightly wider turn radius. They will work though.
