New question
When I get the stock 6.0 Dino tuned by Hawks can I get it where it has a run and tow mode tune? I know I read some threads about this but forgot where. If it was here are over on the LS1 site. Would it be worth it to get it done if possible?

Re: New question
you should talk to them Andy but I think the only difference is the shift points so no I wouldn't mess with it. Some hoped you could change the timing and other "performance" settings and change it according to fuel but that does not appear to be the case.
They should have a sheet for you to fill out since yours is stock the main question will be what fuel are you going to run. That will dictate how aggressive the tune will be. good luck and hope it is running tomorrow for you.

Re: New question
It was probably here that you saw it. It's a wire added to the PCM, a switch and some tuning. I have it on my truck but rarely use it. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=607563 I

Re: New question
Yes that was it. I couldn't find it last night. Must have been half asleep!
Well I guess I will run regular pump gas! Waiting on Bruce to call me back now. Doesn't look good for tomorrow. Tuesday he called looking for the clutch info I had on it. He was going and try that route. We will see!
