I like it! Would look sweet on a set of Diesel Wheels and laying on the ground. I don't have any information on fitting on a 67-72 frame, but sure anything is possible. I would check into the wheel base difference between the two frames, and go from there.

Thanks guys it will be sweet once it's finished it's gonna be a long road ahead but the good thing is just about everything on it that's rusted is flat and unbolts so maybe it won't be to bad. But anyway I own a 72 C10 and the wheel base is the exact same as the milk truck

That is awesome, I have wanted to build a Divco truck for years.

I would love to have something like that to use as a mobile tool box/shop truck.

Re: I know this isn't a C10 and off topic
Thats a very nice truck you have.
I think you are on the right track with the frame, but keep in mind that the Divco have the steps into the van and the newer frame may be a little wider if so you will need to alter the floor but that may be needed to add seats anyway. If you find a 3/4 or 1 ton truck frame it should work better because the weight of the truck. You can also consider putting the newer crossmember and rearend on the old frame, this maybe be the best way to do it if the old frame is still solid. I am considering this on my 1946 Chevy Package Delivery with the 127 wheelbase also. Be extra carefull with this one its a very top heavy truck. |
