have you taken the clear coat off these wheels
If I remove the clear coat off these wheels can they be polished, or is it like junk aluminum that dont polish well.
I want to clean these up and use for skinnies or get rid of them. I wanted these wheels but they dont make them in a 16x10 8 lug . So Im going with the AR62 16x10.. |

Have you checked Ion Alloy 171's.
Look better than the Ar62. http://www.ebay.com/itm/16x10-ION-St...546c8f&vxp=mtr |

Re: have you taken the clear coat off these wheels
I would do a test spot on the back side of one of the wheels to see if you can strip the clear with out messing up the rim.

Re: have you taken the clear coat off these wheels
Once polished life will be painful to keep clean. Many wheels are NOT true aluminum or billet. They are a blend of metals and the polished look will depend on the quality of the metals in the wheel.
