Converting C20 to C10 with aftermarket suspension from McGaughy's
Hi guys! Please Help me out on this one!
I have a 1975 C20- 2WD. It has that forward lean stance, and before I put it back together I want to level it out, which means only dropping the rear 1-2" I can't find ANY lowering kits for the C20 suspension, and here's my solution: [IMG][/IMG] (PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK, IF IT WILL WORK, OR IF ANYONE HAS TRIED THIS) As is sits, this is my suspension, and I would like to add some rear hangers that drop the truck 2": I was thinking if I removed the perches for the leafs currently on my truck, and replaced them with these C-10 Perches from McGaughys: And then installed these Drop Hangers from McGaughys: Then I would have a dropped truck. No doubt this would work but is it ok that it's for a C10? Will it cause trouble for me? Thanks guys. If you have any better suggestions or advice- ANYTHING! Please post it here.
