Disc brake conversion???
I have a 68 c-10 and was wondering if it was a waste to only convert the front to disc and leave the back drum? Also is there a 6-lug front disc conversion kit that has a power brake booster included that won't break the bank? Thanks in advance guys!

Re: Disc brake conversion???
Well all trucks after 71 (until recent when disc were used in rear) were front disc/rear drum. ..I guess im not understanding your question..and early classics sell 6 lug disc sets

Re: Disc brake conversion???
Disc front and drum rear is the most common thing out there. Discs on the rear was originally a hi-end sports car thing. Heck, even Corvettes had drums in the early days.

Read this link, it shows you what years to look for. Be sure to read it well. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=444823 Note if you use 73-87 spindles. You must have the heavy duty spindle that takes the 1-1/4 rotor. Because the aftermarket 6 lug rotor will not work with light duty spindle that has the 1" rotors.
