Re: 90 -91 blazer -burb dash cluster

This is the one in my '91:

It's not stock; it's been converted with a tach and a small lower-right-corner fuel gauge. The cluster works great, unfortunately I buggered the fuel-level sender in the tank while installing a bigger Walbro pump, so the tank has to come back out again.

At least from that exercise I learned that I really do have a 40-gallon tank; the build sheet on the glovebox didn't say what it was, and with the original fuel pump even if I crawled into the gas station with it stumbling and coughing I could never get more than 30gal in the tank, turns out it basically wouldn't suck the last 10gal.

Most of the '90 clusters and I think all the '91s had electronic speedos.

That and there's no provision for a dash mounted wiper switch....unless you wanna trim it out for one.

Why not just use a '81-'89 gauge housing? Or the proper yr tach dash? They seem to be everywhere.

Hey that's cool. Always wondered if you could fit a factory tach in a '90-'91.
What did you fuel gauge come from?
Here is my '89 with tach. '
