Those are both the feed and return lines up to the corvette filter/regulator. The feed out of the filter to the engine isn't ran yet in those pics.

I also have the SUR&R kit but haven't installed the lines yet. I thought about running the nylon lines through some larger diameter fuel lines or similar before I push the ends on where it might rub on something, then secure it well. I'm kinda exploring OEM plastic clips that are used to mount the lines as a viable option for securing the nylon lines....but I haven't found much on that yet.

LS1Nova, I like how you did your lines. Are you using a mastercool or similar flaring tool to re-create the push on "flare"?

Running the nylon through some regular rubber hose before putting the connectors on is a good idea for locations where anything could possibly rub.

I also tried to find some factory clips to hold the nylon lines, but they are usually big and hold4 or 5 lines and are kind of bulky. I wandered the pick-n-pull for a long tome and never found anything nice and compact looking. I still keep an eye out when I'm there, so maybe ill find something sometime.

And to answer your question, yes, I'm using a Mastercool hydraulic flaring tool. The best flaring tool you'll ever use! I've had several of the older kind and they are just a pain to use sometimes. It wasn't cheap, but for as many swaps as I do, I decided to splurge. With it and the Dorman kit I have about $500 in my fuel system, which is about what some people spend on AN fittings and braided line.

Glad to hear that you like it, because I bought the Mastercool too but haven't used it yet. I really would like a mix of hard and nylon lines, and you've done exactly what I've been thinking about. I assume you also did something similar up at the fuel rail (hard line most of the way, then nylon).

The 4-ish line clips are what I've seen so far too. I've done some google searching and haven't turned anything up that way either.

The only problem I've had with my Mastercool flaring tool is the line will sometimes get stuck in the die for the push to connect flare. I've found out that sanding the coating off the line helps.
