1980 Chevy Cube Van Question

Looking at a local sealed bid auction again, this time its a 1980 Chevrolet G30 Cube Van with only 6600 miles on it. Its been retrofitted with aftermarket A/C for the box area as they used it as a mobile field office.

The vin says its a M Code 5.7L.

Anyone know what the specs are on this engine besides 4 bbl carb?

Looking at bidding for a cheap enclosed self propelled trailer for my Wife's craft shows that I won't have to unload and carry in to the basement any longer after the shows.

Re: 1980 Chevy Cube Van Question

1980 should have basic run of the mill 350. It should last forever with those low miles.

Re: 1980 Chevy Cube Van Question

This happens to be the generic info packet for an '80 pickup but it has all the detail for the engine(s) in it. It would be the same 5.7 in a G Van as shown here.

Re: 1980 Chevy Cube Van Question

Thanks Keith - that info is more than anyone could ever provide.

I'm still shocked it only has 6600 miles. Spent its entire municipal life stored in doors too when not being used until this last month of March.
