Tire Prefrence?
Getting ready to buy a new set of tires for rear of the 62, looking at some BFG TA E4's 255/60/15 for the rear... What are you guys running?

Re: Tire Prefrence?
I'm running Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 255-70-15 on the rear of my truck. I ran T/A's for decades, but got tired of them wearing out in the center of the tread no matter how low I ran the air pressure. I've never been a particular Firestone zealot, but I sure like how these look and wear.

Re: Tire Prefrence?
Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 255-70-15 on all 4 and chrome Chev SS PKP wheels(15X7, altho' they appear wider--have had several guys try to argue about that width, but 'they are what they are! work well with a tire-wheel-width problem on rear). Been pleased w/ride, noise, wear, & looks for 2-3 years........if forced to admit it, prolly many of us would say same about our gal-friends!!!

Re: Tire Prefrence?
My truck has 255's on the rear now, I think I could go a little wider but I'm planning on dropping the rear a few inches and I don't want to mod the fenders if I can get away with it. Thanks for the info and the pics.

Re: Tire Prefrence?
255/60-15 all the way around. I've decided to go lower all the way around, instead of going with a taller tire.
