Boydwelding fuel tank
Looking at the non efi standard top fill tank and would like to see a picture of how far under the bed it hangs down. Can someone post up a picture if you have this tank. Preferably a shot from the back of the truck standing about 20 feet away or so to get a general idea of looks. This looks like a pretty nice tank and would like to get one. Thanks in advance!

Re: Boydwelding fuel tank
I'd like to move my fuel tank back there some day but I would want to build an extra armor shield around it. I know, I know, I'm OCD.

Perfect!! Thanks. Is that truck lowered at all?? I'm thinking of doing a 6-4 drop on mine but don't want to put the tank on the ground.

Re: Boydwelding fuel tank
Right now it has 3" drop springs on the back...but with no bed or cab. I have to see what it looks like after all the sheetmetal is on before i decide where it will end up

Re: Boydwelding fuel tank
Mines lowered 7.5 inches in the rear and the tank sits fine. I mounted it inside the frame rails

Re: Boydwelding fuel tank
Hahaha.. that they are.. I picked up the blazer tank from lmc and with as low as I am going I am thinking about building a skid plate over it out of 1/8 plate. I think my metal brake will handle that.
